So the Skins book finally came recently and has suppressed my with drawl symptoms. It's actually pretty good. Most books off of a TV or movie usually suck, but this one isn't all that bad.
Anyway, I want to tell you more about my pathetic existence.
So there's an Irish pub a couple blocks away from my school that I love to go to. They have the best corned beef that has ever been called into existence. Anyway, the owner's name is Brian and his wife's name is Laura. I've never met either of them ever, but I always thought that Brian was this lanky ginger guy and Laura was a stout rocker looking girl. And they were adorable together. I can't even describe how great these two were together. So I'm in the pub with my mother and we actually had a nice conversation (which is rare, but no time to tell you about that now). She mentions Brian to the waiter and we just continue chatting. Then she starts describing him to me. "Yeah. He's the big burly brunette guy." And I thought, no. This can't be right. So I say, "I thought he was ginger." And she gives me this weird look. "No. That's not Brian. I don't know who you're talking about." We then start trying to figure out who I'm talking about and I'm becoming more panicked because if the ginger (whose name has been discovered to be Kyle.) isn't Brian, then the rocker looking girl and him aren't married. Head cannon ruined.
So then we start trying to figure out who Laura is. "Oh you've met her? She's a quiet little Korean lady." "No. She's the stout woman with the long black hair." "No, that's Mimi." Now I was kinda panicking. I don't know why I was so upset, but it mattered. Here I was, convinced (maybe by a subconscious stereotype) that this ginger guy owned a pub and he was married to the woman with black hair. Oh no. That's Mimi and Kyle. A day later, after some snooping, my mom discovers Kyle's name (though he will always be ginger guy to me) and that Mimi is married. And not to Kyle. It ruined my day. I think the reason I was so upset was because I believed so fully in my assumption and they were adorable next to each other. If you imagined the two in a romantic relationship, then you would have been upset too when you found out it wasn't "cannon". I mean, just the Sunday before I went to hang posters and asked Kyle (who I thought was Brian) if we could hang it and he called Mimi (who I thought was Laura) over to get it organized. He seemed like the kinda mousy husband with a wife who knew what to do. It just solidified the thought that they were Brian and Laura!
I've already spent too much time on that. Good day then...
Doodle of the Day:
I know I'm cheating and it's a photo manipulation. I'm a bit too traumatized by the lack of romantic relationship between Mimi and Kyle. That's what you get.

Here's two gifs to make up for the lack of an actual drawing.
